Backend-first — API design to cloud deployment, end to end.
I build and deploy production-grade backend systems. I've shipped two production client projects (Vedi Collections — e-commerce, Next.js + FastAPI on Supabase, behind a custom domain; SVJ Trust — a public website for a trust's founder), and my own projects span AI agents (Topline — a Gmail-native agent that reads invoice-relevant email into a source-backed ledger and only ever drafts follow-ups for a human to approve), productivity (Tendr — a gamified full-stack task manager with server-enforced XP and virtual-pet mechanics, launched to #66 on Product Hunt), and ML (Video Object Remover using Meta's SAM2 + ProPainter; CaptionFX, a multilingual captioning pipeline with dedicated Hindi/Indic ASR routing — both deployed on Hugging Face Spaces). I work primarily in Python with FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and JWT/OAuth2 — and I'm comfortable taking a project from API design all the way to cloud deployment. Comfortable owning a project from schema to production: auth flows, background jobs, webhooks, Dockerized ML pipelines, and the boring-but-critical bits like migrations and health checks.
